This knitted vest echoes the silhouette of a traditional quilted vest worn under the kimono, and comes from Folkwear’s currently out of print 136 Children’s Kimono and Vests pattern. The vest is knit in a knit/purl diamond pattern and is fairly simple. There are two buttons on the side to close the vest, and edges are finished with a crochet stitch. This vest is an interesting and fun layering piece!
