Machine knitting pattern for Passap double-bed, standard-gauge machines. A classic men’s cardigan sweater, worked in a “fairly fine mohair/acrylic, 475m per 100g, 149 yards per 1 oz.” Pattern for the Form Computer, so the pattern will recalculate based on the gauge of the yarn and stitch pattern you use, depending on the measurement of the gauge swatch. Length of sweater and arm and width are also adjustable. Seven buttons.

The stitch pattern shown in the photo is worked with a punchcard and transfer carriage. Back bed knitting, front bed knitting half the stitches one row and slipping the rest, then reversing, then some stitches transferred to the back bed, Passap lock setting N/HX< then transfer across with lock set to 5. Front bands worked in long stitch - N/CX.
