This pattern has been developed for Japanese knitting machines such as Brother or Singer machines.
A nice quick beanie pattern, with a pretty effect in the crown shaping. The size can be easily adjusted by adding/subtracting rows or stitches.
It would also work as a slouchy beanie by not reversing the English rib to eliminate the fold back.
2 or 3 ply soft yarn is recommended, or ply together 2 or 3 strands of finer yarns.
Please knit a small test piece first to help with achieving the desired size.
Approximately 50g of yarn should do it!
