Make the most of your self striping or color drift yarn!
Garment is worked in 2 pieces (left and right halves) in multiple directions. The sleeves are worked in the round. The body is worked with circular needle, back and forth in rows. The side panel is worked in rows, with either a pair of needles or circular needles worked back and forth. The 2 pieces are joined at back center seam.
This cardigan is hard to classify, but works up to be a very classic shape.
The sleeves can be lengthened, as written, will work out to be bracelet length or just on the short side. The perfect length if you find sleeves are usually too long.
Choose one big button for the closure, like I did, or put on as many as you like - the button loops are added separately.
