This thick and chunky cowl adds warmth and a little urban edge to your winter wardrobe. It’s great for a stroll down Denver’s 16th Street Mall while window shopping and enjoying an evening in the city.

The cowl is knit using Hometown USA by Lion Brand Yarns, a super bulky yarn. The sample pictured uses approximately 60 yards of the Little Rock Granite colorway and 60 yards of the Oakland Black colorway.

The only stitches that the loom knitter needs to know are the e-wrap knit and the purl. The cowl is knit on the Martha Stewart Loom set, configured for 46 large pegs in every other hole.

This pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner loom knitter.
