MATERIALS AND TOOLS
✓ Main yarn – I used 60 g of sand “Mohair Delicate” by Nako (40% mohair, 60% acrylic, 500m/100g) for the main parts, 5 g of pink for the tongue, 5 g of black for the nose.
Tip: You can use any yarn (wool, acrylic, etc). The thicker the yarn, the bigger your toy will be. See the gauge section.
Tip: If you need exactly the same yarn please ask a lady from this shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/LittleOwlsHutRUSSIAN if she can find it for you
✓ Matching crochet hook. I used 1.5 mm steel crochet hook (US 8, UK 4 1/2).
✓ A pair of ready-made eyes – I used 8 mm in diameter. You can use black half beads 6 mm in diameter instead.
✓ Single core copper PVC electrical wire – I used wire approximately 240 cm / 94.5 inches long 1.2 mm in diameter.
✓ Transparent glue
✓ Stuffing
✓ Adhesive fabric tape approximately 1 cm wide to work up the wire ends (optional)
✓ Any material for tinting (optional)
