“I look to the traditional ski sweaters of St. Moritz for inspiration,” said Adrienne Vittadini, describing the thought process behind this striking design from 1996. The allover ribs make for a great fit, and the body and sleeves feature graphic bands of seed-stitch argyles set against a stockinette background. It’s finished with a flattering mock turtleneck. The original yarn was Adrienne Vittadini Danielle, a blend of 90% merino and 10% cashmere. As a substitution, we recommend Sueno Worsted by HiKoo/Skacel Collection, which is 80% merino and 20% bamboo and has a lovely drape.
