This listing is for a knitting pattern for a pair of fingerless mitts. It features a center cable that is placed neatly between two cables that mirror each other in direction, and frame the center cable. The underside has a twisted stitch, as well as a knit purl combination on the arms, and it’s finished with a thumb gusset. The thumb gusset structure is the key to a comfortable fit. These mitts also allow you to text in both style and warmth. The “gloves” were made using 2 circular needles, and fingering weight yarn.

The directions include both a chart and line by line instructions.

One size fits most, but there are tips within the pattern if you need to change the size.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a good familiarity with knitting, purling, cabling and twisting).

This pattern was designed in with the help of Nadia Glaser, who also expertly pattern tested the sample shown. She can be reached at mymamaknits@gmail.com, and is known on Ravelry as “Fourbubbiesmama”.
