These socks are made with 1 ball of MC and 1 ball of CC of Aran or medium weight yarn. They are knit with striping on the ankles. The heel flap and turn is knit in K1, Slip 1 purlwise. The toe is in the CC as well. These socks work best with a high nylon content in the yarn.
