Let’s show support for our US Teams at this year’s Winter Games! We in Minnesota are especially proud of our winter sports traditions. Jessie Diggins, cross country skier, will again be going for gold! Our fingers are crossed, and we will cheer her on, as well as our other athletes!! Inspired by a hat I believe might be the closing ceremonies hat…then again, I could be wrong!! ETA Yep. WRONG!!

Hat comes in three sizes. The hat does stretch, so the numbers may seem small but the large hat does fit a 23 inch head. Rasta is the way to go for looks, but if you’re budget-minded, you might choose a different bulky yarn.

Let’s face it, this hat is just for fun!

ETA: I think the hat needs to be 7 inches before knitting the first red round. Feels a little skimpy!! I will add a note to the pattern.

I did add an inch under the ribbing (with cutting and grafting!) and it fits much better. The choice is yours!!
