I originally published a similar pattern in 2021. The original pattern was created with 12 mini-skeins and one full-size (100g) skein of fingering yarn.

After collaborating with Carla Hanson of Purple Lamb Fiber Arts the original pattern has been redesigned to create a wider wrap and accommodate her 2023 Advent yarn calendar. The calendar includes 24 individual skeins of fingering weight yarn (20g/92yds/84m) and one full-size skein of fingering weight yarn (100g/400yds/365.7m) in a solid color yarn. The wrap can be adjusted for length and width and suggestions for adjustments are included in the pattern. The pattern itself yields a wrap of approximately 30”/76.2cm in width and 76”/193cm in length. The pattern also provides suggestions and an instructional video if you would like to add beads to your shawl.
