A lovely linen blend yarn, like the one used here, begs to be knit up in multiple complimentary textures. And with a design that allows you to blend three colors together, this shawl becomes a very versatile pattern.

Choose understated, neutral colors, as shown, with a pretty pop of lilac OR go bold with your color choices. It’s up to you!

Relaxing stretches of Garter stitch alternate with easy striped Garter stitch and sections of pretty lace.

The lace is a 12-row repeat that is charted and written. It opens up beautifully after a good blocking.

The generous length and slanted shape of the shawl allows it to be draped nicely as a scarf or creatively wrapped to suit your style.

Sample shown knit in Purl Soho Linen Quill. Suggested substitutes listed.
Approx yardage required: 680 yds / 622 m of Main Color A; 420 yds/ 386 m of Contrast Color A; and 210 yds / 193 m of Contrast Color B. Total yardage = 1310 yds / 1201 m.
