Written knitting pattern for 3 beautiful fingerless Norwegian mittens ☆

☆ Woven into the wool of these fingerless Norwegian mittens is a timeless motif; the classic eight-leaf star crowned with a rosenyro or ‘kringle.’ Inspired by traditional designs found in antique rosemaling, wood carvings and bunad silver from Telemark, this little pattern carries a piece of heritage very close to my heart ♡

Includes three lovely versions of the same design, each showing how different types of wool can create a unique look and texture.
