An adult sized beret style hat with a pretty 3D leaf motif and flexible band.

The yarn used for sample is metallic looking and pretty, but I think any Aran with a nice sheen can do the same. You do not want anything too stiff like an actual metallic thread.

This will be an easy pattern for any experienced crocheter, I’ve levelled it intermediate due to the changing front and back posts and stitch counts. Otherwise the stitching itself is not complex, but it does require concentration to obtain the leaf motif.

Once you get the rhythm of the posts you should be able to whip this up in only a few hours.
