3kaku Summer is an ankle sock version of 3kaku (2020), featuring triangle garter stitch pattern for the front of sock and the heel. The heel has been redesigned with a larger heel to make it easier to wear as ankle socks and also recommended as crew socks for those with a high instep.

The pattern includes options of;
Top/front of socks: 3kaku Summer (triangle garter stitch pattern), Stockinette St with 3kaku Heel
Sock length: Ankle Socks, Crew Socks
Cuff: Hem for ankle socks, 1×1 Half Twisted Rib, 2×2 Rib for Crew Socks

Socks are worked from the toe-up with garter short row heel. The garter heel is effortless to make. Directions are written for the magic loop method with circular needles. Video tutorials are included.

Note: 3kaku (san-kaku): A word coined by combining 3 and Sankaku (triangle in Japanese).

3kaku Summerは、三角づくしのトウアップソックス「3kaku (2020年発売)」のくるぶしソックス版です。模様編みと踵が、ガーター編みの三角模様で構成されています。このSummer版ではくるぶしソックスとして履きやすいよう、踵が大きく再デザインされました。甲高の方のクルーソックスとしても最適です。履き丈、デザインは以下のオプションが選べます。

甲・前面のデザイン：三角模様 (3kaku Summer)、 メリヤス編み (かかとだけ3kaku)
履き丈： くるぶしソックス, クルーソックス
