In the past I posted “44 Shades of Fun” pattern. A lot of people liked it. So to continue with that tradition I added this pattern. Basic idea is the same: to change pattern often enough, so you do not get bored! Only 4 rounds or so… Pattern is easy enough for an intermediate beginner.

I started this pattern as a cowl, but I cast-on 190 sts and weather suddenly turned to cold again, so I decided to keep making it as a caplet to stay warm in chilly spring weather.

It can be made longer (as a poncho) if you add more repeats BEFORE step #25! I made it fuller so you can move arms easily. But it can be made more fit by decreasing amount of sts in multiples of 10 (i.e. 140, 150, 160, etc). It only takes 3 skeins to make it. There will be a little bit of leftover.

I hope you will enjoy the pattern as much as I enjoyed creating it! I managed to “have fun with it” for 3 evenings!
