This is an instruction manual for the Circular Sock Machine.

This manual contains both top down and toe up instructions for creating;

Cap Heel / Square Heel
Square / Dutch Heel
Round / Hand Knit Heel
Val’s Hybrid Heel
Afterthought / Peasant Heel

Math is done for the 72 and 54 cylinder. You will need to configure your own numbers for other cylinders.
Terms such as “2/3 of the sole needles” are used to assist in math.

The only short row heel is the Peasant. It was included only as all the toes on my sample socks use this technique.
I suggest that you knit the Cap, Square, and then read the Round and knit the Hybrid before attempting the Round.
