5-Pointed Star Ornament (Knitted)
DETAILS
— » For this pattern I used a long-tail cast on with a doubled tail (doubled yarn/strand). I also cast on using two needles together to ensure that my stitches are not too tight. I then split my stitches symmetrically, back-and-forth, over 2 dpns; see photos.
— » You can view a video of the doubled tail, long-tail cast on here: http://youtu.be/1itkz_TOyo4
— » Also feel free to use Judy’s Magic Cast On © 2006 Judy Becker: http://knitty.com/ISSUEspring06/FEATmagiccaston.html
— » Increases: The left and right lifted increases can be swapped for any type of increase you prefer, simply note that out of 1 stitch you will need to make 3 stitches, every time.
