Gauge:
Cable panel 17sts measures 6.25cm, 2.5”.

18 stitches and 26 rows to 10cm (4“) over Irish moss stitch using 5mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

To fit chest:

Hooded Cardigan:
(Size 1: 2 balls yarn), (Size 2: 3 balls yarn), (Size 3: 3 balls yarn), (Size 4: 4 balls yarn), (Size 5: 5 balls yarn).

Hat:
(Size 1: 1 balls yarn), (Size 2: 1 balls yarn), (Size 3: 1 balls yarn), (Size 4: 1 balls yarn), (Size 5: 1 balls yarn).

One pair each of 4mm (UK 8/USA 6) and 5mm (UK 6/USA 8) knitting needles.
You also require a cable needle for this pattern.

For the hooded cardigan you will need 55,6,6,7 buttons ref BT482.
