This pattern provides instructions for two styles of women’s waistcoats, knitted in King Cole Cottagespun DK yarn.

32 stitches to 11 cm(4.25”) and 28 rows to 10 cm(4”), over pattern, 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

(Size 5: 3 balls yarn + 6 buttons).

V Neck Waistcoat:
(Size 1: 2 balls yarn + 5 buttons),
(Size 2: 2 balls yarn + 5 buttons),
(Size 3: 3 balls yarn + 5 buttons),
(Size 4: 3 balls yarn + 5 buttons),
(Size 5: 3 balls yarn + 5 buttons).
