Get the perfect fit with this top-down ribbed hat. The hat is knitted from top down, so you can try it on as you knit it to make sure the length are just perfect for your head. After the crown shaping the rest of the hat is just simple 6x3 ribbing.

This hat is designed for everyday use, and despite the small needles and fingering weight yarn it knits up surprisingly fast. This is the perfect project to use the precious hand dyed skeins from your stash, as the simple texture really highlights the colors and texture of the yarn!
