Steel crochet hook, size 6 (1.80 mm) or size needed for gauge.

Gauge: Doily pattern through round 2 = 1” / 2.5 cm.

Stitches: Split Front Post Treble Crochet, Front Post Single Crochet, Front Post Double Crochet, Split Double Treble Crochet, 2-DC Cluster, 3-DC Cluster, Picot.

The doily is worked in 29 rounds; the fourteen points on the doily are added in 7 rows each. Then 4 rounds of edging are worked. The pattern begins on page 24. The instructions are verbal; there is no stitch diagram/symbol chart for the pattern.
