This little knit and crochet vest style cardigan is worked in Trendsetter Apex, a blend of Cotton and Hemp. The finished yarn twists both fibers and then is space dyed in an elongated color stamp. The body of this is worked from the bottom up on one side and then up and over shoulder to come down on the other side. Before reaching the shoulders, the stitches are turned into an open Eyelet stitch pattern that takes the design up and over. On our design, the body is closed by the sleeve cuff that is pick up and worked down. We left the long sides open for movement. You can sew up the side seams to whatever distance you want closed from the arm pit down to the bottom.
