Soffio from Trendsetter is just a yummy yarn. The base fiber is a blend of Merino and Cashmere. The two fibers are combed together and injected into an elastic core. When the finished yarn is dye, the fibers take on the color and bloom creating a yarn that is thick, light weight, elastisized and so very easy to knit. The body is worked in pieces that start with Rib St. and then to add some detail to the body, Some of the rib design continues up to the top of each piece. We designed this to be like grabbing Grandpa’s old rocking chair jacket and never wanting to take it off. This sample is wide and comfortable and the amount of ease is up to you. By simply putting the buttonholes on the opposite side, this is easily a man’s jacket…..and he’ll love this yarn just as much. You may have to just make one without buttonholes and buttons and just share it between you.
