When I started knitting with Gomitolo Hippie, I knew I was going to love it. On the ball it has a clean natural background and it looks like painted streaks of different lengths in different colors. I couldn’t wait to get to the next color in the ball. The sweater is knit from the bottom up with off center notches on all of the ribbings. The body is simple and is set of set in sleeves. When done, the shoulders are sewn together and the body finished. I chose to do a layered border on all of the pieces. This is not mandatory and can be left off. I loved the texture difference and the color details. The borders are not separate and sewn on. The stitches are picked up from the stitch change row on the inside of each piece.
