I made the blanket holding 2 to 4 strands of yarn together at the same time however the pattern can be done holding a single strand.

The pattern includes a pdf of the pattern, several photos including a photo tutorial of the special stitch used in the blanket done in white and blue to allow for better viewing of the stitches, and a link to a 4 minute long video showing how the stitch is done. The video has clear explanation of what should be done in the stitch and you are able to view what is happening with ease. The video also shows a view of the back of the stitch.

The length and width of the blanket can be customized.

Stitches used in the blanket: slip stitch (to begin the project), chain stitches, double crochet and the special stitch which works into a chain 1 space in the row below the current working row.

It can be made by holding 2 strand of yarn together (as I have shown in the pictures of the completed blanket) or by hold just one strand (as seen in the video link and photo tutorial).
