Vintage doily designed by “Billy Monday,” the alias for an injured football player who took up crafting to make money after being confined to a wheelchair. It originally appeared in The Modern Priscilla, April 1906 and was revised for “Crochet Traditions, 2011” by Sylvia Landman.
