I love the classic look of pullover sweaters that are of one main color, but with colorwork detail around the neck and shoulders. That is where the inspiration for this hat came from. In fact, the colorwork pattern at the crown of this beanie is taken from a jumper that I own myself.

This hat is a true beanie in the sense of the word and will fit to your head and cover your ears from the winter. The three color stranding technique used is simple enough for knitters that are just beginning colorwork while still being engaging enough for an experienced knitter. The wool yarn used is soft and durable and any colorway will look fantastic with this pattern! Choose a different color palette to make this hat your own!
