This top down sock is worked over 48 stitches. It features an option for an integral ribbing or picot hemmed cuff. The written and charted pattern consists of a different lace pattern on the front and back of the sock. The heel flap is worked in Eye-of-Partridge slip-stitch.

Because I have a young granddaughter, whom I enjoy knitting socks for it occurred to me when I was working on the adult version of this pattern, that it would make a very cute child’s sock. I immediately started playing with variations of the original pattern until I came up with a combo that worked well both for the stitch count and that would be pleasing to the eye.

I hope you’ll enjoy making these for a special little Miss in your life.
