This colorblock shawl evokes the surging waves of the ocean. Knitted long with short row shaping, the “bumps” and “tiers” add texture and depth to a shawl you’ll reach for, by land or by sea.

Yarn:
Knit Picks Capretta (80% Fine Merino Wool, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon; 230 yards/50g):
MC Cream 25600, 5 balls
CC Harbor 25598, 2 balls

Needles:
US 2 (3mm) 47” or longer circular needle and optional shorter circular or double-pointed needles for working starter tab and shorter circulars for early rows of shawl, or size to obtain gauge.

Gauge Note:
Gauge given after aggressive blocking on finished shawl. Differences in gauge will change the size of the finished shawl, as well as the amount of yarn necessary to complete it.
