Everyone needs a go-to gift hat. A hat that becomes familiar and is a treat to knit, much like getting together for coffee with a good friend. For me, this is that hat.

The lace and faux cable pattern is easily memorized, the fit is comfortable, and the yarn Quince & Co Chickadee, is like your favorite Saturday hoodie - soft, comforting and oh so dependable.

It’s a good thing this is a quick, knit-in-a-weekend kind of project because all your friends will want one!
