A Hint of Tweed
A Hint of Tweed is a pattern for a simple hat with a double-layered brim to give extra warmth for the ears and forehead. Knit almost entirely in stockinette stitch this hat knits up like a breeze. The cast on method used is the provisional cast on and purling is incorporated only on one row on the brim. A Hint of Tweed is knit in the round, bottom up.
This pattern is perfect for cold sensitive people who like their accessories simple - and perhaps spiced up with a hint of tweed.
