This attractive jumper, with an unusual neckline, is smart and cosy for winter wear, and is not difficult to make.

MATERIALS: 13 oz. “Totem” wool. Original uses turquoise mist shade, No. 1933. A pair No. 8 and a pair No. 7 “Beehive” needles (Old UK).

MEASUREMENTS: To fit 34-36 in. bust; length from top to shoulder, 19 inches; sleeve, seam, 18½ inches.

TENSION: Four stitches to an inch, measured over a stocking-stitch stripe, patted out lightly, but not pressed.
