A Light Jumper
Useful for indoors or under a coat, this jumper is an up-to-date style, which will cost little to make. THIS lacey jumper is in a quickly worked stitch of only two lines of pattern to learn. A light jumper with a high collar was recently published; this V neck is nice for indoors. The jumper can be worn as a “tuck in” blouse under a skirt, or with the ribbed waist-band outside at the natural waist-line.
Materials: — Four ounces of 2-ply Ladyship fingering wool, a pair of long bone needles No. 9; a pair of No. 11 needles for cuffs and neckbands [OldUK].
Tension and Measurements: — If the lace pattern on the No. 9 [3.75 mm] needles is worked so that it is 1½ inches in width, the following measurements will be attained after pressing: shoulder to hem 19 inches; round bust 38 inches; seam of sleeve 20½ inches, including cuff.
