A little Slice is a wonderful loop cowl with two travelling cable patterns and a seed stitch border. The cable patterns are repeated once for the original version, but could also be repeated twice for a wider cowl.
A Little Slice is knit in the round in two lengths -- the long loop, and the shorter neck warmer size.
The long loop can be worn long or doubled artfully to reveal the cables, while the snug neck warmer is a jaunty, chill-chasing accessory for both men or women.
Pattern intstructions are charted and written for the long loop version first, with additonal sizing information after.
I have also included two types of charts. One master chart, and then charts broken down for each cable pattern, in larger type, for those of us with a few stitches over our needles. And there is a variation for a wider version

Although this pattern is written for sport yarn or dk, almost any yarn can be used. Either neck warmer or loop would also look great knitted in heavier yarn on larger needles. The finished size can be customized by changing the number of cast on stitches in increments of 58 .
All cabling is done on the even rows. stitches as you find them.
Finished Sizes:
Long Loop: 6” x 70” around in sport/dk uses about 100g -- 350yds
Neck Warmer: 8” x 29” around in sport/dk uses 50g --165 yd, 100g--175 yds worsted
