This sweet green baby turns out nicely pocket sized (about 5 inches tall x 5 1/2 inches wide at the ears) when finished and once I finished the first one I was able to whip up the next one in under 5 hours. The examples here used “I Love This Cotton” in sage and antique cream with 12mm safety eyes and a large handful of fiberfill. I would definitely recommend using stitch markers with this one. The toys pictured had fabric paint details on their ears but that step is purely optional. This pattern also uses a mini bean stitch on the robe, but if you’re not familiar with this there is a link to a helpful YouTube video in the pattern. With a little imagination and effort I’m sure the pattern can be adapted to use any colors or fiber you like. My only suggestion is that if you use a heavier weight yarn then you may want to go up to a larger size eye to keep the baby-like proportions.
