A sweater for never coming home on summer’s longest nights, and for dressing in the dark on winter’s shortest days…

Front-back reversible and accented with 4 vertical lace panels, A Pale Fire marks each solstice and equinox as it drapes and warms. The structurally sturdy lacework features a flame-like motif reminiscent also of evergreen sprigs.

Worked top-down in the round with raised boatneck construction, A-line bodice, and i-cord edgings, this pattern is suitable for adventurous beginners and beyond.

A celebration of contrasts and contradictions, this versatile pullover is both romantic and rustic, delicate and durable, whimsical and warm. It is suitable for year-round wear and adaptable to a variety of DK and fingering weight yarns.
