I designed this scarf for my friends at Carton Blanche, a lovely online store that specializes in beautiful Get Well gifts. They have a blog on the website and that is where the pattern can be found.

The goal was to design a scarf that was pretty easy, but not boring. And one that you would want to knit for a friend in need of a little pick me up.

This scarf is a tweed stitch that uses two colors. I suggest that you choose your friend’s favorite color and your favorite color. The tweed stitch blends the two colors beautifully. Just like two personalities blend in a great friendship!

I used Silk Garden and a Solid Worsted Weight that is no longer available. You can use any solid worsted weight for the contrasting color.

Thank yous and credit to Maryellen Baker for the beautiful photographs.
