This is a simple double-knitted tea mug cozy that I designed for a class I was teaching.

It is a great beginner’s project for practicing double-knitting, especially if you’re planning on taking on a bigger project later.

The cozy is knit flat and then joined around with a crocheted edge. Or you can simply finish it by sewing the corners and adding a loop for the button.

The cozy took half of a skein (or less) of each of two different colors of Cerro yarn.
