A quick-to-knit hat with a fun snowball pattern and optional pom pom! The pattern’s 3-st cable is only worked every 4th round, making it a pretty easy knit. Since the cable is a bit uncommon, I’ve created a video tutorial for it as well (also linked in the pattern).

Make it in an off-white color to mimic real snowballs, or maybe in yellow as a reminder that you should cough never eat yellow snow. Of course, it might go well with that poop emoji hat you got last summer… :P

The stitch pattern is both charted and written out.

Materials:
1(2, 2) skeins Valley Yarns Superwash Bulky (109 yds/100 g, shown in Natural), or 1(2, 2) skeins Valley Yarns Berkshire Bulky (108 yds/100 g, shown in Gold), or approximately 100 (115, 125) yards bulky weight yarn.
Optional pompom requires an additional 20-30 yds of yarn, so if you’re making the smallest size, and want to make a pompom, get that 2nd skein of yarn.
