Little girls will wear dresses all year round. Even if they have to put several layers on top, they will still cling to the idea that a summery dress is always appropriate. But in those first days of summer, true summer, when they can skip outside in nothing but an airy dress, there is something special about their little faces. At no other time, in no other outfit, do they look so quintessentially like little girls. A Stripe for Every Season is designed for those days, for my little girls.

A Stripe for Every Season is a top-down raglan dress with open cable details at the raglan seam and a light, twirly skirt. The picot edgings add a touch of prettiness, while the fit is loose and comfy. Whether the plans for the day include a party or an afternoon at the park, your little girl will be ready. Knit the skirt in a rainbow of stripes, or choose a more subdued palette of two or three colours.
