A-tisket, a-tasket, a green and yellow basket…As I was knitting these socks, this song kept playing over and over in my head. The basket weave texture and subtle yellowish green speckles named this design all on their own. No thinking on my part, it was meant to be!

Knit from the toe up, these socks are a lovely, easy to knit project that beginners and seasoned knitters alike will enjoy. Lightly speckled or variegated yarns shine in this pattern due to the textured stitches of the basket weave pattern, showing off both the knit and purl side of the fabric. Sized from infant to adult XL, get ready to make a pair for every knit-worthy person in your life!

Techniques used in the A-Tisket, A-Tasket Socks include a Turkish Cast On, both knit and purl lifted increases and a tubular cast off.
