A round dishcloth, knitted in the round, from the outside in.
The piece is started with a lace border, then continued in a second colour for the main body in simple garter stitch, shaped by regular decreases.

Put two of my dishcloths into your cart and pay for only one! No code needed.

The pattern comes with charts as well as round by round written instructions, and directions on how to resize it into a larger item, e.g. baby blanket.

A truly romantic piece, this dishcloth can be a lovely ornament for the kitchen. Or the bathroom, as a face cloth. It can go into a thoughtful gift bag, or after some simple resizing, it can make a handsome rug, placemat or baby blanket.
It’s an ideal project to use up leftovers as it requires just a small amount of yarn from each colour, and if needed, more colours can be used, accommodating even smaller amounts.
