During the colder months of the year many require extra warmth over their night attire, so why not make yours dainty and a pleasure to wear? This one is carried out in rose pink and cream, but any other colour fancied will be equally as effective. It is very easily made in block stitch on medium sized wooden needles, with plain knitting on finer bone ones for the bands, while little pink roses in bullion stitch brighten the soft cream finish of the front and sleeves.

MATERIALS: 7 oz. Patons and Baldwins’ Rose Fingering Pink, 1 oz. Patons and Baldwins’ Rose Fingering Cream, 2 Medium Sized Wooden Needles. 2 No. 6 Needles, 1 Skein Pink Embroidery Silk. A few strands Green Embroidery Silk, half a yard Pink Ribbon, half an inch wide.

SIZE: This bed jacket is for a large figure, but for those who wish to make a smaller one, cast on 35 stitches for each side of the front and 65 for the back, increasing one before commencing the block stitch. Then work as for the larger one.
