A Whale of a Toy!

A cute, simple toy! These can be made out of any yarn, so long as you use a needle size slightly smaller than the one recommended for that yarn. They can be made in a weekend, and the dedicated knitter can make one in a night

Yarn: Any yarn you like. Knit in in Full Circle yarn by KnitPicks and Nature’s Choice Organic Cotton by Lion Brand in the examples.
Needles: Smaller DPNs or circular needles recommended for the yarn you are using. The example shown above was knit with size five circular needles with the Magic Loop Method.
Notions: Tapestry needle, tape measure, fiberfill, stitch markers, stitch holders or scrap yarn, row counter if desired, and safety eyes if you are using them.
Gauge: Doesn’t matter!

PLEASE NOTE: My website has changed to www.natalie-barrett.com. Please send any inquiries to natalie.knit@gmail.com. This has not yet been changed on the pattern. Thanks!

Hopefully I will have a better picture soon!

Errata:
Any confusion over round 20 or that area? Please see comments.
After round 20, any time it says ‘P1’, this is just the purl you would’ve made anyway, it’s just written in these rounds.
Rounds 35 and 36 are knit.
