A patch of dirt, silent and cold, waits patiently for the warmth of the sun. As the beams shine brightly upon the dirt, a shoot of green appears, followed by another, and another, until finally blooming in glorious color. As the temperature climbs, more and more green appears, along with the first juicy berries. Finally, that patch of dirt’s hard work culminates in a blazing feast of color before the cold blanket of winter falls once again.
