Very basic “recipe” for throw with some comforting AA phrases duplicate stitched on the squares. Done in squares and sewn together so can be worked on in small chunks without being distracting in public places! :)

Suggestion from fellow Raveler:

I like this. My first thought at looking at the layout was: make the middle block the AA Logo; make the top and middle or middle side and end blocks say One Day At A Time. To address the issue of making the meaning of the design too obvious, the design could be worked in garter stitch with a stockinette back ground. You could also use the logo colors, which would be significant to those who are members.

I also think that this design could be used for any stressful situation, by replacing the AA logo with any appropriate logo.
