An elegant set of lace jewelry featuring large fans, worked along a string of beads. The pattern notes include instructions on how to string the beads to work the lace along the sides.

To make the lace more delicate this design uses a 1.25 mm hook and size 20 crochet cotton. Size 20 crochet cotton is the same thickness as 8 wt embroidery cotton, or 4-ply sewing thread worked together. Any of these alternatives can be substituted.

The necklace is designed to sit at the base of the throat, like a collar. The bracelet uses the same design but offset on each side to give a wavy effect on a wide cuff. The earrings extend the same fan into 3/4 circle to create a medallion.

Total material requirements are:

  • 1.25 mm steel crochet hook
  • 80 8 mm round beads
  • 8 stitch markers
  • 10 yds strong sewing or beading thread
  • 60 yds size 20 crochet thread + metallic filament
  • Jewelry hardware: 2 lobster clasps, 4 jump rings, 2 earring hooks

Additionally, the yardage required for each piece is listed separately.
