Abalone is a narrow wrap that has an elegant bunting edge that is knit at the same time as the body. It is one of those patterns that will have people saying “I didn’t know you could make that on a loom.”

Loom: 1/2 inch gauge knitting loom with at least 32 pegs flat knit. 5/8 inch gauge may also be used.

When choosing your yarn worsted weight yarn, remember it will need to be blocked to open up the lace edging.

My patterns are low vision and screen reader accessible. The text is black, Arial and large print 24 point font. All of the directions are fully written out and no charts are relied on to complete the patterns. No italics are used. They are screen reader and tablet friendly..
