November is a beautiful month with a crispness in the air that calls for wearing something warm and pretty. I imagine the perfect sweater to be a cardigan made from soft local wool with simple construction and a few lacey details- something just like this cardigan. Knitted from the bottom up in one piece, the body has side shaping for an attractive fit and a bit of lace for interest at the cuffs and yoke. Inspired by a vintage cardigan that has been a well-loved staple in my own wardrobe, this version is versatility at it’s best- it can be dressed up or down.
